About us

Smart Support was founded in 1997 with the mission of dealing with companies’ IT concerns allowing them focus in their core businesses..
We are based in Porto Alegre, Brazil, provide direct services throughout the southern states and through partnerships we are able to support customers on a national level.
Our team is composed of dedicated professionals who very much love what they do, which is reflected in the relationships we maintain with our clients.
We invest in official certification in the most common industries of the market.
Our company is in partnership with market leaders, including HP, Dell, Microsoft, Adobe, and others.

With a datacenter located in Porto Alegre, physically near to our customers, we provide a wide range of services, including.

Hosting of websites and emails
Hosting and colocation of application servers and virtual private servers
Internet based backup services with full disaster recovery of local servers with physical delivery of restored data (not dependent of internet download)

IT Infrastructure Support and projects

We design and implement the whole structure to allow any company to begin operation, and provide the necessary ongoing maintenance and support.

Our support services are based on ITIL concepts, so we have 3 teams acting in remote, presential and advanced support, monthly categorized reports of incidents and requests and formal processes to handle the five broader components of IT services: strategy, design, transition, operations and continual service improvement.
Also we have aggressive Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and in case of critical failures our response time is up to 2 hours.

Web Development

Smart Support was born as an IT infrastructure company intended to provide excellence in services. In the middle of our journey we were invited by our customers to additionally assume responsibility of their issues with website creation and maintenance – as they didn’t want to keep two separate service providers.

So, ten years on from our foundation, we created a new team composed of both web developers and analysts to implement and maintain websites, web applications and smartphones apps.

Today our web programming department deals with sites and application development projects of our own customers and those of partner or third-party companies in larger projects.
